Process Overview

Innovative and intuitively operated user interfaces (UI) increasingly become the unique selling point of successful applications. Using our user-focused concept for the UI design project, we ensure a precisely targeted focus on your users’ requirements, skills and expectations. This approach enables us to purposefully adapt the application to be developed to your users’ needs and thus to achieve a special user experience.

Analysis — comprehending the requirements

A profound user and task analysis serves to clarify all influencing factors and parameters (such as system requirements, work flows & expectations) and to consolidate them to specific requirements.

Design — creative UX solutions

Within the course of the UX design process, we will first define the interface’s cornerstones within the scope of the conceptual UI design and then graphically complete them by means of a consistent visual design and meaningful icons.

Validate — early success control

Usability tests, expert reviews and model-based analyses allow for identifying fields of action and optimization potentials even before actual implementation. Possible risks can thus be reduced.

Specify — documenting results

All relevant UI design decisions will be accurately summarized and clearly documented. A combination of design manual, prototypes and a UX toolbox, for example, gives your developers quick and easy access to relevant information at all times.

Develop — technical implementation

Based on our profound experience in implementing innovative user interfaces, we will support you with customized solutions — from individual custom controls all the way to realizing complete UX concepts.

Project flow

As soon as the project definition is available, we will draw up an individual flow chart within the guard rails of the User Centered Design Life Cycle. Depending on the type and scope of respective user interface design projects, this flow chart might either be traditionally sequential or feature an agile structure. In both cases, regular reporting on the efforts required ensures full transparency with respect to scheduled budgets and time frames. Additionally, all our projects are subjected to an iterative procedure in which clearly defined checkpoints are to be passed. We thus realize an efficient as well as targeted implementation of sophisticated user interface projects.
