Leica Geosystems is a leading provider of high-precision solutions for capturing, modelling and presenting (geo-spatial) information. Leica Geosystems’ innovative mobile GPS- and laser-based surveying applications allow for an efficient capturing and visualization of geographical data in highest resolution and fulfil highest quality standards.
ERGOSIGN supported Leica Geosystems in the development of the state-of-the-art surveying software - Leica SmartWorx Viva - that sets new benchmarks regarding the precision, speed and usability of mobile surveying solutions. In order to attract both existing and new users to the new user interface, the project started with a detailed review of Viva’s predecessor as well as with a comprehensive contextual user-/ task analysis. In cooperation with Leica Geosystems, ERGOSIGN’s user interface designers developed Viva’s innovative and visually pleasing user interface that supports highly efficient and effective mobile surveying.
