Growth and innovation pace in the sector of renewable energy is undeniably huge, which directly leads to an increase of functional complexity of supervisory and controlling applications.
ERGOSIGN was commissioned by AMSC Windtec, a leading engineering company involved in developing systems for wind turbine applications, to redesign their control cockpit for windparks from scratch. Besides conceptual UI changes, a new modern Look & Feel had to be designed and - based on the engine “substance” - delivered as pluggable assets.
A great challenge in the redesign of the cockpit was the fact, that windparks are very extensive, globally distributed and almost exclusively remotely administered.
